2009 Television?

Well, in academy my teacher said something roughly you having to draw from a certain TV or something? I have no notion. Like, in 2009 you won't know how to have regular channel without have a certain cable provider and/or tube? I don't know what she was chitchat about and I get the whole story mixed up. My dad also said something just about it too. Help!

Answers:    In 2009, all over the heavens broadcasts must be digital. This will impact consumers that use rabbit ears and do not have digital tuners surrounded by their TVs.

1) All TVs with rabbit ears and no digital tuner, you requirement to purchase a digital converter that costs about $50.

2) All TVs next to digital tuners do not need any further hardware.

3) All TVs with digital tuners and cable/satellite, this 2009 conversion will not impact you. Cable/satellite companies are not mandate to convert to digital, even though most providers are asking users to lease a set top box or converter box.
