What should I do if I disconnected my cable box?

I have a Scientific Atlanta Explorer 2200 cable box. I accidentally hit the channel button on my tv, causing the cable box to disconnect. [or at least, that's what i think happened] Now hitting the remote control doesn't have any effect on the tv screen. Nothing shows up on my tv except a fuzzy screen. What should I do to connect the cable box again?

Answer:
AS STATED ABOVE, TUNE THE TV TO CHANNEL 3 OR 4. ALSO HOLD DOWN THE POWER BUTTON ON THE CABLE BOX UNTIL IT SAYS "bOOt" LET GO AND WHEN THE CORRECT TIME SHOWS AGAIN TURN IT ON.
GOOD LUCK!
Call your cable company
Have you tried to change the channel on your tv back to the proper channel? If you cable has become disconnected all you would have to do is connect it back up and it will reprogram itself.

Usually the tv needs to be on channel 3 or 4 to work properly.
fuzzy screen means you are on RF channels now.

pls try to press AV button on your remote or if it is not working then press CH+ or CH- button on your TV set untill you find the picture
