How do I fix my color problems on my tv?
glow and blind me. There are yellowish and greenish hues too. People seem to have too much red, green, and yellow in their skin. This tv is only 2 years old. I have the options of brightness, color, picture, sharpnes, and tint. I have played with each of these settings, and can't figure out which one or combo of them will fix my problem.
Answer:
Set brightness and tint halfway.
Next, set contrast to 3/4.up to full...
SET YOUR COLOR 1/2..
That's the factory setting..
NOW, if the colors are TOO INTENSE.reduce the color back down until the Flesh looks like yours does..
Or turn it up if it's too weak..
IT SOUNDS LIKE YOUR COLOR IS MAXXED OUT.that's not the correct setting..
Start with the Factory setting, then you should only ADJUST color intensity..nothing else.
But if the blacks are too black.the brightness adjusts that...
If the Whites are too INTENSE...the contrast sets that..
If the Colors are too DAYGLO.the color adjusts that.
And TINT? Nobody plays with Tint, they just set it in the middle.
If it's STILL BAD.time for a TV servicer to come out and see what the problem is..
BUY A NEW TV
Most televisions will allow you to reset your settings. Do that first, and then begin with the color. Gradually decrease the color so your picture won't be too dark. You might want to darken the brightness a little bit. Just doing that should take care of the tint. But if not, just decrease that as well until you find a picture you like. Increasing any of those settings from the starting position will only make your problem worst.
Take to repair shop or buy new.
i would ask the person who sold the TV or where you bought it they will know well anyways nice talking to you.
If playing with the settings doesn't work, it could be that the television has a magnetizing problem. I had this problem with my TV once, and demagnetizing it fixed the probelm. TV repair men do it all the time, and it usually doesn't cost much.
The luminance signal hasn`t gone missing has it ? ( just a thought ) Cheers Pete !
