About infared remote control trasmitter and reciver?

tell me the full details

Answer:
do you just mean the remote and the unit you are controling? the infared signal (viewable with the night vision setting on a camcorder) beams an infared light to the sensor on the unit you wish to control. the IR signals are then interpreted by the reciving unit...

perhaps you mean an IR extender, or repeater.. this unit has a reciver and transmitter, you set up the reciver where it is in sight of the remote controls signal, and you place the transmitter in view of the sensor on the unit you wish to control, the reciver unit accepts the signal from the remote as IR signals, and converts it to a radio signal, which transmits via RF to the transmitter, and the transmitter converts the RF back into IR and beams the signal to the sensor of the unit being controlled..

IR extenders or repeaters are good to control a single cable box in one room for a second tv in another room, or to hide all of your a/v components inside of a cabnet or closet...
Why? You just point and press buttons for the thing to work. Though some remotes I can point at a wall and they still work.
