Hdtv relief please?

i just get a samsung 19 inch hdtv and iwatched casino royale bluray on it using ps3. i found that if i was too close the photograph seemed a bit crumb. it this normal? can u look at your tv up close to put my mind at rest

Yes that can be normal especially if the TV's sharpness or detail is turned up too giant. Try lowering it below half instrument maybe even down to one quarter of the style. also check to see if your TV has any disturbance reduction settings.
