Cleaning dvd player?
Answers: Of COURSE the cleaners don't work....those lasers are designed to NOT TOUCH the DVD....so how within the heck can it touch the cleaner disc?
It would have to POP UP and Whack that Lens BEFORE the lens Responded and in step....
And I'd rather see the unit's covers removed and a Q-Tip beside Alcohol used on the laser....
While it's apart you can insert the DVD disc and see if it goes thru it's pace...
Load disc...LENS shifts up and down...Disc motor starts...Then Laser comes on and lens LOCKS in on the disc surface....
If it keep shifting the lens. then the focus is sour...OR the laser is weak...
And beside the Dirt Cheap Cheapity Chee-Ness of present day technology....I'd of late buy a NEW one....

there is a cd cleaner that you can seize on market.you lately apply some fluids on the cd and play it in your dvd,it cleans the lens.
you can obtain it in electronic shops
