I need help to connect dvd to old tv?

i have come out of the dark ages but my tv hasn't.it has only one imput;in the back for cable. is there a converter or something??i can't afford a new one right now. please help

If This Is The Only Input, You May Be "Out-Of-Luck". I'm Not Sure There Is A Solution, UNLESS you Have A VCR With The "Inputs" And "Outputs" You Need. Hook It Up "In-Between" The TV And DVD Player, Using It As A "Passthrough" (Hook-up The DVD Player As If You Were Going To "Record" From it Onto The VCR. (DVD "Outputs" To VCR "Inputs") Make Sure The VCR Is Tuned To The Correct "Input Source" And Run The "Cable" From The VCR "Output" To The TV. (Some VCR's Will Still "Passthrough" Even If The VCR Is "OFF") Good-Luck! (P.S. You Don't Need To Load A Tape Or Record Anything)
Its called an RF modulator, you can likely get one at Wal-Mart, Radio Shack or Amazon.com.
