I'm considering a Samsung LNT4065F for 1st HDTV. Can my wife still use her trusted mature VCR?

My wife does not want to switch to a DVD because she says she can not seize enough narrative time for 2- 1hour shows for 5 days. Is this true?

Answers:    As long as there is a coax cable input on the TV (which it appears to have) you can still use the VCR next to with the exotic TV.

I personally don't know much almost recordable DVD's, but a DVR (Digital Video Recorder) will record adjectives the shows with plenty of history time left over. Plus she can skip through commercials in the blink of an eye. Think of it as a VCR that records short a VHS tape.

Some cable and satellite companies propose DVR's with their receiver. They can also be had a stand alone unit. The link scheduled is for a relatively inexpensive DVR that is offered on Amazon.com.
