Despite the fact that I've made my living fixing TVs for nearly three decades, I'm against watching TV. They are the single most culpable contributor to society's decline I have witnessed in over 5 decades of life in this country. Newspapers come in a close second. If people would get out, exercise, socialize, and contribute to their community, many (if not most) of the problems our society has would vanish in mere months. A quick look into history in this country will reveal that a strong community is a trouble free community.
