Television has green on the lower part of the screen that can't be removed. What should I do?

This is like if you have taken a magnet to the tv screen and made the colours jumble. Same effect, is there any cure?

Answer:
degaussing
All consumer grade TVs have built-in degaussing coils that are momentarily activated upon power on of the set. If you don't hear the magnetic sound when turning on the TV after it's been off for at least ten minutes, then the coil is no longer working. You'll need to buy a degaussing coil and de-magnetize the crt manually. After that it's time to call the repair man or carry the TV to the TV repair shop to get the degaussing coil repaired. However, it's very rare for the coil to go bad so the deflection yoke may be causing a purity problem.
