SO.....when it comes down to it....Your display quality is the most IMPORTANT PART....not whether it's 1080P or 1080i.
All TV sets can obtain 1080, as all HD-DVD players and GAMES can transmit a signal that the TV can DECODE !
techinically its the best soaring definition on the market right in a minute, so its going to trump any other tv. the 1080 refers to the lines of resolution, theres the 720 and 1080, 1080 being better because youre getting a "crisper" picture
