My tv is blue?

My tv has a blue screen nothing else it wont pick up a signal from cable or dvd player magnavox said it may be an SSB board

Answer:
Video switching IC problem is the most common for that blue screen
Do you know how many TV's there are out there? How about posting a brand and model number next time. Maybe someone can offer more help. Enjoy your blue screen jack ***.
Your Tv has switched to blue screen because it can not detect a signal input !! check all your input leads or scart if you have one !, Matt S is covering up his ignorance in wanting model etc ( he wants to look in a faults book ) then calls you a jackass ! ! Ignore him ! there are always a couple like him around !! Cheers Pete
Blue screen is an indication of a signal loss on the television. This can be due to poor cable connections. The cable ends itself. Or the connection inside of dvd player magnavox "solder joints" may be cold solder joints.
