Features

Full HD 1080p resolution: See all of your programming in the highest resolution currently possible. Many Microdisplay, LCD and Plasma sets are only able to display 1280 x 720 pixels. When showing 1080i content (1920x1080), these sets will lower the resolution. Not with a 1080p set. This never throws any resolution away.

Wide color enhancer: LCD TVs use a type of fluorescent lamp as their light source. Just like the fluorescent lamps in offices and other places, these lamps tend to emphasize blue. Samsung adjusts the signal so that the picture you see is more natural and closer to the original.

S-PVA panel: When the whole family sits down to watch TV, or when you have guests over to watch the game, it's important that everyone gets to see the action. With Samsung's exclusive Super PVA LCD panels, you get a wide 178-degree viewing angle. Now everyone can sit in a great seat.

8ms response time: Fast sports require fast response from your LCD panel. Otherwise, the motion might get blurred. Samsung ensures a crisp image with a response time that's more than double what's required by the most demanding HD sources: 60 frame-per-second video (1/60 sec = 16.7ms per frame).

10,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio: LCD panels create a picture by selectively letting light through from a constant source. This produces bright images effectively, but because that light source never turns off, dark images are more difficult to produce. Samsung analyzes each incoming frame and adjusts the panel and light source to produce the best result. This gives you deep, dark scenes without dimming the bright lights.

NTSC/ATSC/QAM tuner: The ATSC tuner lets you receive free digital broadcasts, including HD signals, through an over the air antenna. QAM allows you to receive unscrambled HD from your cable provider without a set top box. The NTSC tuner will allow you to tune in to analog signals until the 2009 cutoff.

Game Mode: Gaming places high demands on the TV. People sit closer to the screen, instant response is required, and all images are computer generated. As a result, a TV should be "tuned" for games. Samsung learned the best practices from a leading console manufacturer and built them into Game Mode.

3 HDMI-CEC inputs: HDMI is the best digital connection for today's high definition sources. CEC adds a control interface so that you can, for instance, insert a disc in your HDMI-CEC enabled DVD player that will turn on the TV and change it to the right input. All you do is close the disc tray! Samsung offers two of these inputs on the back of the set and one on the side to keep you connected well into the future.

Answer:
The LN-T4061F is a decent performer but has some pretty glaring issues. I'd recommend checking out some of the competition before dropping any of your hard-earned cash on a new LCD HDTV.
You have selected one of the BEST!

I congratulate you for your fine choice in TVs.

I wish I had that many INPUT connections...
well Ill tell you my story,, Ive tried 3 tvs, 2 lcd and one dlp. the problem is getiing a good picture. if you get dish netwotk only some of the channels are in HD, most of which is nothing you want to watch, then the rest is still in SD or standard def, which on three lcd tv's i tried looks like hell, The local channels or in HD but they use some method of boosting the signal and its not reall brodcast that way, unless its a special,,, david letterman is in hd and some local news, but overall sometimes if your watching something like nascar brodcast in hd thats pretty cool. The industry is slowing changing but I bought one cause I also have my computer hooked to it, now thats really cool, make sure the tv has a D-sub connection or says it has a PC connection then you get your moneys worth, right now all that is actually in 1080p is that blu-ray dvd movies and i think the player is still expensive
Yes the samsung is good, but I have another recommendation.

Two of my recommendations that I think are better and cheaper.
LG LGE42PC1DA
Sharp LC-42D62U
