Toshiba dlp projection tv display is yellow, faded out, and has vertical lines. What happened?

Only had the tv 4 months. Turned it on one day and the display was a faded out yellowish with vertical lines. We can barely see the picture. Any text on the screen (such as the menu) can't be read. I read (after we already bought the tv) that Toshiba tv's were problematic.

Answer:
DLP's and Rear End Projection TV from all companies suck.Get a Plasma or LCD.Even an CRT TV is stil good and there cheaper
Pull the bulb out and look at it, some have had bad bulbs.

Actually, the Toshiba DLPs are the best out for DLP.

Every manufacturer will have problems.

Toshiba products are 10x better than Samsungs.

If the bulb is OK, contact toshiba and have them either fix it or get a new one.
