Switch to LCD or LCD digital TV?

I use a 27" traditional TV and I wish to switch to LCD. I also see some LCDs have digital but more expensive. Is it worthwhile to change to digital? Most of the time I just watch news and football.

Answer:
yes it is worth it.

BUT depends on what area you live in and therefore when you will get full coverage, the south being one of the last places to get it.

this will confirm if you can or can't and what stations.

If you can get it then you can just buy a lcd and a stanalone freeview ( this will keep the price down ) OR a digital lcd and save of cable management.

Hope this helps wg
Yes, spend the money now and get the digital, you'll be glad later that you did!
All Lcd is digital if you meant HDTV then yes, do upgrade to that, all programming will be in HD eventually
When the analogue signal is switched off, you won't get a pic on the tele without a digital receiver - - either buy a digital tv or a freeview box or similar. The switch off starts in October in some areas.
