Why can't I seize a full eyeshade picture surrounded by 16:9 mode on my Samsung HP-T4254 near HDMI connected to a Comcast box

Why can't I get a full blind picture in 16:9 mode (or Just Scan mode) on my Samsung HP-T4254 beside an HDMI cable connected to my Comcast cable box? I don't want to always use use Wide Fit mode when using an HDMI cable, while watching cable television--since I other have to adjust to see marquees at the top or bottom of the peak.

Answers:    AVOID pillar boxes on your TV set, if it's plasma....it can burn those images into the blind....same with LCD or LCOS projectors....

Set your Cable box to 16:9 or Wide or Full...whichever one it states contained by the Cable box's menu....
They also have matching setting for LOW Def signals too....
Do both.

Then you should set the TV set to Wide or Full....
And unfortunately SOME TV stations resembling to ADD their shows to a Box or Frame....
They should not be allowed to do that....but they can.
maybe motivation u picture is not 16:9, some came don't have 16;9 and only 4;3 in consequence you had to crop. Also check if you tv have option to fit the eyeshade. If you use ps3 there's a option to stretch full eyeshade.
