I found you on yahoo. I hope this doesnt take up to much of your time. I would be exceedingly thankfull for any advice you can distribute. My tv went out on me. I didnt enjoy a lot of money to replace it.I go to Sams Club.I found a broken 56 inch Rca.I was told it have a 1yr warranty from the manufacturer.I remunerated $300 for it.I took it to a repair shop that RCA sent me to. from what i can tell from the invoice they replaced the deflection module. The set be dead and would not turn on. I be told RCA probably was not going to honor the warranty. I compensated $200 to fix the set.I watched it when i picked it up.I took the set home and watch it for about 10 min.it shut stale and will not power back up.I unplugged it and give it another shot. the power button blinked 9 times but still dead. Does it nouns like impossible to tell apart problem?Could it be a simple fix such as a fuse?How hard would it be to repair it myself? I own not found much in existence i cant fix.Should the repairshop honor their work (if its the same problem)?If i can come up next to cash do you know of a perfect extended warranty that may be offered?the model # is R56WH78YX53. Answers: I sympathise next to you on this, to be fair to the shop thought that it be fixed otherwise they would not have permit you take it home ! You are right though surrounded by expecting the shop to now fix it lower than their warranty , the fault is the deflection module PLUS what ever destroyed the module to initiate with , they in recent times did not test run the set long adequate after fixing it , sometimes they are under pressure to pass the set back to the owner too briskly !!.
Now here is my advice for what it is worth ! . Go rear legs to the shop and talk to them kindly and politely and they will more than likely do the right item !!
I have be on the other side of the counter for many years and I can detail you that one thing that get up the w/shop staff nose is a belligerent demanding customer !!.
Hope you can whip this in the spirit that be intended !!.

You need to any take it backbone to the place that repaired it and complain that they did not fix it and see what they can do to fix it for free (no further service charges) or you need to progress to a more reputable shop (one recommended by someone you trust) and get the TV repaired.
I would own not purchased a broken TV for $300. But that is beside the point and you probably cannot return it to SAMS but I want you could.
