Hi. I have a unknown Sony XBR4 HDTV, and would like to be capable of watch regular TV on it occasionally. I don't enjoy any kind of satellite or cable TV, and don't see myself getting it anytime soon. What I do enjoy is a TV antenna that I can hook up. Of course, the picture is awful...I just can't obtain a clear signal. Is there a better passageway to get purely regular local TV? Is there some category of box or device that will give me a clear picture bar cable or satellite? Is there any path to access the local HD signals? Thanks!
Answers: first of all great tv. i hold one also, what you need to do is run to the store and buy a HDTV antenna for around $40 plug it into the tv and do a full scan on the channels contained by the setup, do it for cable and air. i did impossible to tell apart thing you want and i obtain all my local channel in HD next to my antenna, you will not believe how clear the channels come contained by when its in hd compared to when its surrounded by analog. they come in crystal clear in need any static or fuzz. try doing the scan for air first i feel thats the one that gets the local hd, here going to be a number like 8-1 or 12-1 for example at hand should be a dash after the number so you know your within digital mode for your channels so they recieve hd. hope this help out
