What kind of Tv should I purchase? plasma, lcd, rear projection song grand wega?
Answer:
Every TV is calibrated from the factory.
The bigger the screen the more $ for the LCDs and Plasma.
I would recommend a Toshiba DLP or a Mitsubishi DLP bulb or bulbless.
Both have excellent picture and excellent quality. And the picture will never degrade. Pop a new bulb in and it will look brand new.
At 60,000 hours the plasma will go half brightness, and the LCD last 60,000 also, florescent tubes will go out.
If you want an LCD TV make sure you open up the pocketbook. They are by far the most expensive type, and don't give that much better of a picture in my opinion.
u should buy the sony lcd.
its great
trust me
It should really be determined by your price range and size. If you want a really large TV, 60+ inches, I would recommend a Plasma or Rear Projection. If you have the depth, go with the rear projection. If you are looking in the sub 50 range, go with an LCD. The technology is more durable and will not burn the picture on the screen.
Above all, get a TV that looks great to YOU! Everyones eyes are different and process wavelengths differently. Just because CNET says it is the best doesn't mean your eyes will think so. After all, you will be the one using it. On that note, don't just go to one store to see the picture of a TV manufacturer brand. A Samsung at Best Buy might not look as good because Sony is paying them to make sure their TVs are correctly calibrated and have a good signal going to them. Get it?
