Xbox 360 help tv ? ? ?
the screen is there, if i go off av and then come back on it, i can see it faint but then it goes again,
any ideas.

Make sure none of your connections are loose. Also, if you have a secondary chord, or a secondary space to plug the chord into the tv, try that.sometimes the connectors can go bad.
sounds bad. I bought a 360 shortly after it came out and it lasted all of three months until it stopped working. I sent it back and they fixed it (it was still under warranty) but it has only lasted an additional six months. I am so fed up with it I went and got a Wii.
I suggest you send it back to the place you bought it from, providing you still have the receipt. Get your money back and purchase either a PS3 or a Wii. The Wii is very social when you play with it, the most fun I have had with a console but if it is graphics you like, go for the PS3.
Trust me when I say the 360 is more hassle than it is worth
there has been some software issues with the 360 and they are meant to be sorted with the 07 modal which has just come out. if you take the 360 back they should give you a 07 modal and send your details to microsoft and then when there is a new consol out they may choose you to beta test it for them and let you keep the consol.
to me it sounds more like the tv connection then the consol though.
