If you buy a 720p tv and a 1080p blu-ray player, what will come up?

I saw that there are 720p and 1080p tv sets available. I also saw a 1080p blu-ray player. What happen if you play a 1080p blu-ray on a 720p tv? Will it work ok? Will the picture still be good?

Answers:    With HDTVs, they clamber the image to the home-grown resolution. If you have a 720p HDTV, it will degree low res and high res similes to 720p. This will happen if you connect a BluRay player to a 720p TV.

The doll will still be amazingly sharp like HDTV programming.
It will work, but the picture will just be as good as the 720p tv. And depending on which munificent of brand it is (cheap or good quality) the tv might over fry little, and lower your tvs life. Though this will ensue slowly and you will not see the effects till years from when you bought. Though if the tv is a well know brand than it shouldnt do that. Plus i a hundred or even a few hundred dollars more is worth it when your buying a tv. The picture is so much better!
