Is Phillips and Magnovox the same brand? If not, which is better?

Phillips and Magnavox are now one and the same company. They create both tv brands but neither of them is of much quality. they both have a very high repair percentage and are made mainly with inferior parts that tend to break down rather quickly.

I just read online that Philips own Magnavox but I think they are different quality. Actually I think Magnavox is Philips off brand if that makes sense. I love Philips Electronics, I have a Philips DVD player and it's great.
BOTH ARE THE SAME..SAME QUALITY TOO. Same Chassis inside Both..
Magnavox sells better in certain parts of the country, Phillips does better in other parts.THAT's why they have 2 NAMES
And, SYLVANIA is their OTHER name..
Same company-- Magnovox is the low end product of the company.
