I already have a cable hookup for basic TV no premium channels, can I hook up an LCD tv or do I need to get the cable box? Thanks,

Most newer lcd tv's come with a built in decoder for cable. Therefore, you will not need another cablebox for your tv, unless, you want to purchase premium channels. hooking up to a cablebox if you don't need to also will take a little quality from your picture.
