Hooking up cable?

I would like to know if it is possible and how to hook up cable at my home. There is a box outside the house with cables going into it. If I got the box open is there anything I need to add or remove to get it to work for basic only. It is an older box, and not digital as far as I know. The asking of this question is hypothetical, I would never steal form the cable provider, I just want ot now if it can be done. By ansewerng I realize that it is not becasue you have done it, just that you know how. thanks

If there's an unused tap, you just screw a coaxial cable to it. Beware, though... believe it or not, the FBI is the agency that enforces cable theft. I watched them bust an illegal cable box supplier while peddling his wares next door.
If the box is in your property shut just go out there and get free cable they'll never jknow if they do find out they can't prove it and the cable guy isn't gonna say anything because he'll just get in trouble too.
Well..IN THEORY you just go out to the box with your RADIO SHACK 100 Foot RG-6 cable line, Open the box, see if there is a way to screw it onto one of the UNUSED connectors and close the box.

Then lay the cable on the yard, drill a 1/2 inch HOLE into the side of your house and run the Antenna wire into it.then hook it up to the TV on the other side of the Hole...

That's it.you can move the cable when you mow the lawn.
Might want to get a BLACK line so it hides better than white.

REALITY is the Cable company can and will DETECT that CABLE and will sic the FEDS on you ...
