Transporting a colossal LCD TV?
Is it safe to lay it on any it's back or front? I in recent times cannot have it standing up within my car as it wishes to be flat.
I read online that laying an LCD eyeshade flat can cause problems resembling leakage or something. Or the eyeshade can flex and break? I don't really know much about it - other relatives said they never had any problem.
So, will it be past the worst? I need to procure it home, but it's a new (and nice) tv so I want to do it the safest method possible. I don't have the box or anything similar to that here, but can certainly put pillows or something soft around it / below it / next to it so it doesn't move around and obviously drive carefully.
Anyways, basically wondering if any of these 'myths' are true and looking for some advice on transporting the tv undamagingly!
Answers: Also if you happen to hold any anti-static material to cover it beside, or if not, a sheet or something to cover it near.
You should be able to transport it without risk on its back, to be exact, LCD screen facing up. With pillows and blankets and such surrounding it.
