How do i get HDTV in San Diego?
Answer:
Go here, and follow the intructions. Make sure you are connected to the appropriate antenna input and have your antenna pointed toward the transmitter(s)

Look at your TV listings, as it will tell if the show is HD. To have HDTV you must have a TV that allows HD reception, or if yours is an older TV, you need an adapter so that the HD broadcast can be received by your TV.
directv, comcast and dish has hdtv,if i was u,i'd look into one of them systems and return the antenna to the store because even tho it may say hdtv,it might not be broadcasted in hdtv, only a few shows in primetime are hd,so regardless if u an hd antenna, the tv must be hdtv compatible and the show ill say its broadcasted in hd.
IF YOU HAVE A TV WITH A DIGITAL TUNER.look in the menu for the Channel box, select that box, use the right arrow key to bring up the choices of Auto program...
There should be a DIGITAL selection.highlight that and start autoprogramming it...
It takes about 20 minutes to go through all the channels.
Then you'll see channel numbers with a - 1 -2 -3 or a .1 .2 . 3 on the end.those are your DIGITAL HD stations..
They do it that way because there are 2 different tuners in the TV sets now..one is an Analog (NTSC) and the other is a Digital (ATSC) tuner. You have to AUTOPROGRAM BOTH TUNERS, not just one of them.
