Is there anyway to connect my laptop up to my TV so I can see it on the screen?

goto bestbuy and ask for a vg8 moniter cable,they only reason why i know is because i just asked somebody at bestbuy not even an hour ago,but i think the cables are 6 feet long. So you have to get maybe 2 cables and also get the male to female connectors to make the cable longer (example you know how you connect to cable cords together with a barrel connector,its basically the same way and this will cost under 70 dollars) but i just re-read your question,you might need a slingbox but i know u can do it. I was asking because i wanted to hook up my 65 inch hatachi to my computer,just call bestbut or curcity for a correct answer
I don't think so but if there is i diden't know about it. There is a way you can see what you are doing on your computer without looking directly on the monitor (computer screen) all you need is a projector but be careful on wich one you choose if you do choose one because you can't use all of them with a computer some are for papers and charts.

If your laptop has an S-video output, then your TV will display just fine. Just plug the S-video cable into the back of your laptop and the other end of the cable into the back of the TV, then go to display, settings, and switch to monitor 2 (or you can use the laptop hotkey, mine is Fn+F5.
