Your looking at some pretty high end stuff but I'll tell you anyway. I just bought an Olevia 32" 232V from Circuit City for $599. As I was walking out of the store the young kid that brought the TV out to me told me he had one for his gaming and it worked just fine.
It support most formats as wel as 480, 720 and 1080I. I hooked it up to my standard cable and it looks good. Several channel broadcast 1080I and they look really good.
OK the best 32"
We are going for quality not junk, so that elminates Samsung altogether.
We want, quality, good support, parts avaiability, the best picture (comes with great specs).
40" BRAVIA™ V-series LCD Flat Panel HDTV
KDL-40V2500
MSRP $2,499 1080p Dual HDMI (1080p)
That will be the best (LCD) for you, in terms of picture quality and reliability.
But what if you dont have to have that excellent picture on a wall. I would say DLP, but they dont have a good one in that size.
See the bigger the picture, the more resolution you need. The smaller the size, the less you can tell a difference.
Stick with these brands,
Sony
Toshiba
Pioneer Elite
Mitsubishi
and you cant go wrong.
