Have an HDTV near 1080i, only just get a PS3 and reading the BluRay's and games play at 720p/1080p..am I screwed?

or will they still show up in dignified definition?

Answers:    Check the settings in your PS3. If you set it to 1080i that's what it will display surrounded by. Its possible it was automatically set for 720p (prob. because it puts liven up rate a little superior than display quality), but I assume you can bump it up (I never checked if there be a 1080i option).
They will show up in hd but not as angelic. Sorry about that i don't know why you get that tv.
