How do I connect a coaxial cable to an aerial?
Answer:
remove 2inch of the outer sleeving
the copper mesh , do not remove but twist away from the inner tubeing and roll betwween your fingers into a twisted length (not tight)
cut the inner plastic tube not cutting the inner copper wire and slide off :::
open the aerial inlet caseing (where the cable goes ) there will be two connection points
one for the copper wire the other for the twisted copper mesh
Buy an adaptor from Walmart.
The centre core goes on 1 terminal and the sheathing to the other.
Make sure there is no short between the sheath and the core.
They make these little things called "TV line transformers" that convert the twin-line of the aerial to coax. 300 Ohm to 75 Ohm converters is another name for them.
You can get them almost everywhere. Walmart even sells them.
.
i have no idea what an aerial is but you can probably find a coaxial-aerial cable somewhere over the rainbow.

I think you might be confusing some. Your question is How do I connect a coaxial cable to an AERIAL?
The answer to that specific question is that you connect the inner core wire to one terminal on the aerial and the screen to the other contact. If you have a junction box with more than one aerial in it, things are slightly different.
I am presuming, of course, that your aerial is either on the roof or in the loft.
