Can i connect an lcd tv to my cable and my computer at the same time.?

i want to be able to watch tv and get on the computer using the same "monitor". im getting a 27" lcd.

Answer:
Absolutely. They make multi-input switches that connect to one output.
Obviously depends on the set. Sony LCDs have 9 inputs, including one dedicated for use as a computer interface (svga input). Others common inputsare composite, component, S-video (which some computers provide) fire-wire and HDMI.
I am sure most quality sets have this capability.
