ok... im not sure what model t he remote is, but it always works on my tv.. for some reason it isnt workin now. and I jus took the batteries out and put em back in, and its jus lightin up, the red button. which is the power button.. is there a code or something someone could give me to work on my tv?? thanks

I have some number codes for RCA TVS . Maybe one would work in your remote. # 0047, # 1447 # 0018 # 0019, # 0090. # 0135, # 0679
# 0747, # 1047, # 1147, # 1247, # 1347, # 1547. I hope one of those works. Make sure the batteries are still good & that you have them in right.

Need to know what kind of TV you have. I have two RCA universal remotes and the code books for them. I also have a Philips and most all the codes in it's book are pretty much the same as RCA lists, so I think the codes are set up by the OEM for the TV,VCR,DVD,etc. and not by the OEM of the so called universal remotes.
