L've heard that the picture from the Playstation 3 is of a very poor quality on LCD TV's, is this true?

PLAYSTATION 3 will give you a wonderful HD video signal.
As long as you didn't buy an inexpensive "off brand" LCD TV you should be happy with the results..
I have seen several Playstation 3 units on various TV sets and all of them have amazing picture clarity.just remember some of your older games will still look the same as they did.
if its hd it will be quality.

If your LCD tv is HD Ready then get ready for some fine graphics !
It depends on the screen resolution and size of your LCD TV.
A CRT tv (cathodic ray tv) has to refresh the image with the beam of electrons (it has a kind of cathodic cannon, it makes the screen blink) that is not the case of LCD TV, so I think you should enjoy your playstation on a LCD TV.
seen it running on one and the picture quality was stunning. suppose if you have a rubbish LCD TV then it might be bad lol
You will not need to buy a plasma tv to watch or use your PS3. I know several people who have LCD TVs & the PS3 looks great. Plasma is a no-good technology, especially for gaming, because after so long, colored pixels start showing up. That's not good. The best all round technology is LCD by far. I have looked at every aspect of this, & that is my finding, but you can suit yourself of course. I'm just being as honest as I know how so you won't regret your decision later.
