16x10 720p HDTV feature?

I've been looking at 19/20" hdtvs for the psp and wii but I don't really want a 480p tv and some 720p tvs are 16x10 and 720p is a 16x9 resolution so does it stretch the pic and generate it ugly or does it do it ably enough to enjoy a good picture. I'll acquire a 16x9 if 16x10's are horrible or even slightly bad. If some are apt and others aren't please recommend a good 16x10 beneath 350.


Answers:    I just brought the tv to be exact on your link. The tv shows really in good health on hd channels. the others channel show ok. The farther away from the tv the better the picture is. It also picks up alot of channels i am not suppose to get hold of. It also works well as a montior. I hold had a few problems but nought major.1. It take awhile to get the color adjust superlative. 2. the channel writing is really small you enjoy to be up on the tv 2 see what channel your on. 3. the nouns messes up when i am channel surfing it second about 3 sec. That something like all. overrall Its a devout tv i would buy another one. every tv has its problems but these are minor.
most tv's these light of day have the route to change the blind ratio,

16:9, 14:9, 4:3, etc, etc

forget the 1080i, get 1080p - full hd ;)
i would suggest looking at HD 1080i tv's for your greatest HD viewing experience and i believe you intended ps3 not psp and ps3 was designed to run on hd 1080. Get that and afterwards by the HD cord needed to make the descriptions amazing.
