What is the best way to clean a 42 inch LCD tv screen.i have a smudge of something on it?..?

lint free cloth, damp with distilled water only - DISTILLED!
If you don't use distilled water, as some people here only say water, you will be rubbing all the inert minerals that are in tap water, on your screen, like mini-sandpaper.
Damp cloth - plain water.
rubbing alchohol on a cotton cloth.
mine came with a cloth 2 clean it with,, u might try going 2 Best Buy & asking 4 a cleaning kit
Go to walmart or Alco or something like that and buy a special cleaner that comes in a little pump spray bottle. And it comes with a lil cloth. If you dont use stuff that is made to clean those only, you will mess your screen up! You dont want that so spend the 5 dollars or whatever and go get it. Good luck<3
Go to an TV/appliance store. They sell wipes specifically made for this. Don't try anything else - you spent all of that money - don't screw it up by tying something that may make it worse!
the best way to clean it? Well if you own glasses, get your little piece of glass cleaner cloth, that i like the softest thing in the world, you can or cannt get it wet its yous choice. but if you dont then get some tissue paper wet, layer it well though, and wipe/scrub off whatever needs to be cleaned
We were told to use a tee-shirt. It won't scratch the screen.
you can get special cleaner for that mate, dont know where though, sorry guv.
