Why wont my LG 19LS4D/22LS4D tv play at HD characteristic?

ive tried pluggin in an xbox and a playstation 3. the characteristic is the same whether it is rough and ready scart or if i use the component input and all the HD inputs. ive also tried using the switch on the AV organize to switch between HDTV and TV but there is still no difference.


Answers:    Well, receive sure that:

1) Your consoles are connected to your TV via HDMI or Component and on the 360, the HDTV switch is set to 'on'.

2) Your consoles are set to output at an HD resolution.
PS3: Options -> Video Settings -> Set resolution.
360: Settings tab -> Console Settings -> Display -> Set resolution.
(Names of tabs might be a bit different, don't hold either of my consoles contained by front of me.)

3) Your TV is set to accept/display HD - Check in your option for output settings and make sure 720 / 1080 are enabled.
contained by the xbox 360 dashboard, go to system > display and check ur settings are set to HD
