The dog ate my remote to the WEGA tv and now I am wanting to use the satellite remote but my question is what button do you use to change the screen to full zoom, partial zoom etc. because unless the program is in hd, I have to zoom it to see it good. The tv is a HD tv and also I have the hd receiver from direct tv. thanks

my directv remote has a button called "format" , second row, first button. it changes most of the overly bordered shows!
i guess u just have to buy a new sony tv converter
I think you might need to get the remote replaced. Contact the dealer & order a replacement for your model. I have the same TV, so I know the only way to change that ratio aspect is with the remote. There are buttons on the front of the TV , so you might be able to access the on-screen menu.
