Im thinking of moving to Canada from the U.K. Can I have my lcd t.v. altered to suit their 110v system?

Answer:
You need a transformer that will convert 220v to 110v, however they are like bricks and not very practical. It would be easier buying a TV over there, they are alot cheaper than they are in the uk
That is the first of your problems but I think they have a different system to our PAL format. Sell it before you go is my advice.
Their should be a converter from European to American plug ins.
Why not sell it and just buy another one when your in Canada! Less hassle!
Just buy a Canadian LCD TV. I tried to convert a foreign bass-box to an English one once buy swapping the plug but it didnt work.
