Picture in picture?

i am going to buy a lcd tv and double it up as a computer monitor in the living room, does anyone knoe if the picture in picture option will allow me to view my desktop whilst watching tv?

Answer:
Yes, the picture in picture (or PIP) feature will work to display both your tv and pc at the same time. However, PIP gives you only a small second picture, usually located in a corner of the tv screen. A better feauture to look out for would be: picture and picture; which would split the tv screen equally in half; one half for the tv, and the other half for the pc. Now, you would have a more viewable/readable display for both functions. Oh, and just make sure the lcd tv you choose DOES have a pc input at the back; not all brands do. Enjoy!
yes you can watch both..
no, but what happens when the pc, or telly breaks down, you may not be able to use eiher.
yes, because you have to different typres of signial source. But the left hand side of the PIP will have the sound.
