Answers: The best tv nearby is the xbr5 hands down. however if you want the bigger size run with the sxrd projection as imho its one of the best projection sets on the marketplace.

both are excellent top of the line sony tvs. these are some of the vest tvs within theworld. the draw back near the sxrd is that it is projection. that means not flat. and it uses a light to projedt the image. the storm lantern is the replaceable part. it will end about 10000 to 15000 hours thats 5-7 years afterwards you have to replace it. at a cost of in the order of 300-$500 not including labor to install.unless you do it yourself. but still thats allot. the lcd will last 60000 hours thats in the order of 25years with average use. and within is no parts that regularly need replacing, plus its flat panel. you can hang down it on the wall if youwant to. big bonus. to me xbr lcd all the opening. good luck
