Hook PC to TV! VGA to RCA!?
Antenna/Cable, FM, Theft Alarm (all those are coaxials) S-Video & Something called "Remote" (Which loke close to a phone jack to me).
I have an attachment from VGA (from my PC) to S-video and/or Composite Video Cable but when i put it on my TV it give me nothing but noise/interference, I'ms still trying to hook it up but i'm wondering if there's anything i could use as an scan converter surrounded by my house (Something like a VCR). I also tried an RF Modulator, but it give me the same results. Also, is within a driver i could install on my computer?
thank you and please help me, I'm really trying to impress my girl... LOL
Answers: Holy Smokes....you own a HOTEL TV set....
That's why you have the Coaxial Theft nouns and the FM and the REMOTE connectors.....
Your S-Video is ONLY for Picture and not sound, so you must own an Audio Left/right jack on the back too....
That noise/interference problem is feasible a bad ground nouns...do the S-Video sockets FEEL sloppy?
Or did you use a super OLD set of S-Video cables? Those wires are definite fragile...and so are those sockets...
But I'd try another set of S-video cables FIRST....
SAME results near an RF modulator too eh?
I would think that if the results are impossible to tell apart with your S-Video and ALSO your Composite RCA jacks (you said so) that MAYBE your converter/Cable setup is BAD....
Maybe it's time for a untried VGA to S-video converter......
thats what i use right now i hold a 42in flat screen and its on hook up to my computer what i did is stir to best buy and brought this wire i forget what it call sry but it plue in it the computer and u acquire 3 jacks one red, yellow and white and i plug that contained by my tv and it work
