I was told it be locked becasue they used it to play games on it but now that I enjoy it, I would like to use the volume. It is stuck on dignified but I have fixed it so the cable box can turn it down but when I do that it it agency too low. How can I unlock it? BTW. they did not have the remote to distribute to me. So I cant make it revise on the buttons on the set. WHY?
Answers: Magnavox's don't LOCK the audio level, unless your are running it to an audio amplifier....

So, the REAL problem is the Audio processor IC which controls the Volume rank within the TV set.
Replacement is around.....$150 if you pilfer it to a repair shop.
Maybe $200 depending.....
