I bought a new tv yesturday, bit i dnt know why the picture looks a bit blurry.?

its a sony 32 inch
resolution: 1366*768
lcd
hd ready

im not sure if it matters but i sit abt 2.5 metres away to watch

You may want to do a search on the net. I just bought a 50 inch Panasonic and had the same problem when I plugged it in. Many times the factory settings are off. I found a site that not only reviewed the TV but gave what settings to have in order to get the best picture quality. Look around the net a bit, you may find something useful.
You may be sitting too close for a 32" TV. Also, what is your signal source? Standard cable doesn't have much of a picture quality.
click on the menu.. am sure u will find a way to get a clearer picture... may be somethin wrong with the settings of ur screen...
another possibilty is check the wire of the cable... it being a lil loose also can make the screen picture look blurry.
