DVI to HDMI - i want to use my laptop on my TV, HOW ?

I want to know if i can use my DVI connection on my laptop to be plugged into a HDMI nouns on my TV. I will need a chain to plug into my DVI connection and consequently into my HDMI connectoin.

so - DVI to HDMI - Laptop to TV.

Can i do this, i want to use my TV as a laptop screen. I want to display my desktop etc on my TV. Will this work next to a DVI to HDMI wire.

Confusing i know.

Yes, you can use a DVI to HDMI cable to connect your laptop to your small screen and it will work just fine. Remember, however, that you will lone be passing video to your small screen -- you won't be passing any audio (sound). The grounds is DVI is video only while HDMI is audio and video. But as you said, you're lately looking to display your desktop on the screen so you'll be a moment ago fine.

There are quite a few websites out near that even sell these type of cable, and I'm sure you have local vendor that do the same.
