I bought this tv over a year ago so our warranty has expired. When the tv is on, it make a really loud buzzing sound coming from the posterior. It doesnt sound resembling the fan so I don't know what it can be. Its so loud its knotty to watch tv most of the time. Does anyone know what this can be and how it can be fixed. Thanks like mad.
Answers: The most likely impose from your description is termed lamination jangle , this is a transformer that is vibrate , since you describe it as a buzz rather that a whistle it must be any be a mains transformer ( if it have one ) or less probable but possible the vertical windings on the deflection yoke , you need to listen to it next to the back removed though so you may involve help !! The glitch when located should be only tightening the transformer laminations ! Sorry but i.e. about adjectives I can offer at the moment.
