I bought a Sony Bravia. Sharp does make a pretty nice LCD. They developed the technology, so they're pretty good at it.
I would not buy an HD READY TV, because , regardless of what anyone tells you, it does not have a built in HD tuner, it's just READY for you to buy one to put in so you can get HD for real. Sharp is good, LCD is good, but get one that's got an HD tuner built in.
