That depends on whether you have to use it or not. It's just like any extended service plan. Be aware that service plans are the most profitable product (by far) that any retailer has to offer. Even more than Monster Cable, and that's pretty high profit stuff.
Yes, it is. I pay for it. My receiver has gone out twice and they replace every time without me having to pay for a new one.
