I bought sony bravia hdtv 32 contained by closing year, should i BUY warranty for 4 more years, for $270?
Answers: Personally I would get an extended warranty. If that tv breaks and it desires to be replaced, you just hold to exchange it!
example: Your tv breaks in 2 years and markedly in 2 years the technoligy will be better. With the warranty you can simply exchange it for the value you payed for you tv. Meaning you go and get a better tv for the same price you payed originaly! Then if you want you can discharge a few hundred dollars to get a bigger and better tv. Versus paying another $8OO-2000 for a unmarked tv!
Its your choice. I buy warrantys all principal things i buy including vehicles!
Its a appliance and machines break! No matter how flawless the product is!!
BTW: I just have a Sony crt HD tv break 1 month after the factory warranty expired. Since I purchased the warranty, it needed to be replaced so I upgraded th a bigger and better 32 inch LCD hd tv at NO CHARGE!

I've had various Sony TVs in my time and never had a problem next to them. I currently have a 32" CRT Sony XBR HDTV that I've have for 7 years and a 40" Sony Bravia LCD HDTV that I got a couple of years ago, and I never experienced any problems near them.
Personally, I never get an extended warranty. I give attention to they're kind of a rip-off. If you don't enjoy any problems during the factory warranty period (usually 1 year) it's drastically unlikely you'll ever have a problem within the next 4 years. That's why electronics and appliance retailers push the extended warranty. They know that they'll likely merely take your money and never hear from you again.
In reality, if you ever do a search on-line for a TV or something and find a price that seem too good to be true, likelihood are they will tell you the TV is within stock and then ask you if you want to purchase an extended warranty. And, if you attain the TV but don't get the extended warranty, they'll put you surrounded by backorder limbo and, even after they've charged your credit card, make you hang around for months before they any deliver the product or you cancel your purchase.
Don't grasp it. You won't need it.
