Answers:    You can USE either one since most TV sets are including more and more HDMI connectors....Sony sets the HDMI connections as the Last Video input numbers resembling Vid 6 and Vid 7, while Hitachi makes their HDMI connects Vid 1 and Vid 2.....

So, power it up and turn input surfing....but wait 30 second before moving to the subsequent video input....HDMI requires handshaking before it displays a picture....

And subsequent time somebody suggests Monster Cable for a DIGITAL signal, don't.....
A cheap $35 cable from Walmart can do the same commission....
