No you can't. But you CAN have 2 digi boxes on one setup: one to your TV and one to your video (or DVD recorder). Best to have different makes thought o avoid remote control clashes.

No.
No.

Unless your TV has a built in digital tuner - then you could watch a digital channel on TV. And record from the box plugged into your video.

Although you could record analogue tv and watch digital or vice versa.
you can but you need to buy a freeview twin tuner dvd recorder.
argos stock a choice of them!
Currently you can watch one digital channel, while recording a analogue channel.
There are devises now available for recording one digital channel, while watching another digital channel, but another way is to have different accesses to digital signal, like freeview with more than one freeview box, freeview and Sky, Skyfreeview, and Cable, or any combination.
It is possible to do this if you buy the correct kind of Freeview box. The important feature you need to do this is a built in twin tuner. They cost more than a basic unit, but it's worth spending the extra money to get the features you want. It works because it has a hard drive built in to it. This means you can record one channel onto the hard drive while watching another directly through the Freeview. Also, depending on the setup you already have, you can link your Freeview box to your VCR or DVD recorder and record 2 programmes at the same time, while watching a 3rd, analogue, programme. I hope this helps.
No this is only possible on the Sky plus, a normal box only has one tuner and so only ever has one channel output at the back, Sky Plus is designed for this exact purpose, but you can still only watch one, but you can record a second channel on the internal hard drive !
